How we can support you

NDIS Dietitian Support

A man and woman cooking together in a bright kitchen, with the woman pouring chopped onions from a cutting board into a red pot on the stove.

If you require nutrition support related to your disability, NDIS funds Dietitian support, as specified on the NDIS website, this might include:

  • a dietitian to work with you to create a disability-related meal plan

  • support to help you follow a meal plan

  • HEN and PEG equipment

  • products to help you eat safely and get the nutrition you need like food thickeners

  • support to manage your HEN or PEG.

Our Dietitian has experience working with people living with a range of disabilities, including those requiring a PEG or gastrostomy tube or specific texture modified diets for dysphagia.

Initial assessments: 60-90 minutes

Review consults: 45-60 minutes

Home visits, SIL or telehealth sessions available.

Individual Dietitian Consultations

These tailored nutrition counselling sessions are great for those wanting personalised advice and a customised plan. If you have a newly diagnosed condition, or want to better manage an existing condition, 1:1 consults are ideal. Women’s health nutrition (postpartum, menopause, PCOS, endo), gut issues (such as IBS or coeliac disease), or chronic diseases (such as diabetes or heart disease) are all areas we work with regularly.

You can book either a 30 minute or extended 60 minute initial appointment depending on the complexity of your circumstances. If you are unsure of the right option for you, get in touch via email or phone today to discuss.
